Olympic Medal

Level: Beginner

Materials:

• 1 1/2 yards cord or ribbon of choice
• 1 lanyard hook
• 8 red pony beads
• 8 white pony beads
• 8 blue pony beads
• 10 gold, silver, or perle brown pony beads (You could use the gold or silver glitter beads, or the beads that are gold- and silver-washed. There is also a copper-washed bead that might be good for a bronze medal.)

Idea: You could make this a necklace by starting at the bottom of the medal. When you're finished with the medal, add enough red, white and blue beads to make a necklace that can go over your head.
