Materials:
3 yards cord, ribbon or plastic lacing
1 lanyard hook
57 red pony beads
19 white pony beads
8 black pony beads

Special Instructions:
This pattern will need reinforcing. To do this, take a separate piece of string and weave it in the regular manner through just 4 beads of each row, starting from the bottom. Continue reinforcing each row up through the bottom white row. Tie in a square knot on the back.

If you want, you can make this two-sided by adding another ear and having it go in the back when you tighten the rows.
